Bio: Hi all! I’m Darren (he/they), and I’m a 3rd year studying Computer Science (frown). I’m one of the co-presidents here, and I do all the boring stuff basically. In my free time I’m either daydreaming, wearing my headphones, or napping; and if I’m lucky, I’d be doing all three at once. I like Vocaloid music and Vivid Bad Squad! For games I do design, programming, and music/sound!

Bio: Hey! I’m Luisa (she/her) and I’m a junior transfer studying Media Studies here at Cal. I am one of your event coordinators and I look forward to meeting y’all. I have been studying game development & design at my local cc’s for the past couple years and have experience in Unreal & Maya! I love horror games, especially indie ones, & my favorite games are Ju-on the Grunge, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, & Halo Combat Evolved. If you ever want recommendations or want to recommend me anything, don’t be scared to!

Bio: Hello, I’m Maddox (he/him) and I study Environmental Science here at UC Berkeley. I’m also a freshman, but don’t tell anyone that. I’m one of the club’s event coordinators, meaning that I’m responsible for helping schedule and manage all the fun things that the club does. If the question of which games I like the best is ever begged, the undeniable GOATS are Pizza Tower, Plants vs Zombies, and Pizza Tower (again). I mostly just develop games - which is just a fancy way of saying that any programmers or artists willing to help me create a game would be appreciated (wink wink). Outside of games, I’m also a huge fan of risking being eaten by a bear while camping.

Bio: Helo helo, I’m Alyn (any) and I’m a 4th year studying Mechanical Engineering. I’m the graphic designer and historian for GDD. I like single player open world games like RDR2, Skyrim, etc, some platformers like Blasphemous, Hollow Knight, and I am also a Childe Tartaglia truther. On games I tend to take an artist role but am also trying to get better at the programming aspect. I also dabble in reading manhwas/mangas, listening to music, drawing, and 3D modeling

Bio: Hi everyone!!! My name is Pateel (she/her), I’m a 4th year studying Cognitive science and Computer science! It’s my first year on the board doing graphic design for GDD! Some of my favorite games are Omori, Final Fantasy (the whole franchise atp), and PJSK. Recently i’ve been playing Persona 3 Reload and Love and Deepspace! I work on games both as a programmer and artist, as I hope to go into the industry after graduation(jump scare🙁). Non gaming related; I love cats, cooking/baking, music(army, carat, moa, atiniy👁️) and animation+ comics + illustration :3 Can’t wait to meet you all at events this year!! :D

Bio: Yo I’m Kiran (he/him) and I’m a freshman studying Mechanical Engineering! I’m the public relations guy for the club, so I’ll be sending out most of the announcements and information and such. The games I have the most hours in are easily Minecraft and Terraria, but that’s not 100% fair because those games you never really “finish.” Some of my other favorites are Deltarune, Celeste, Inscryption, Outer Wilds, and Henry Stickmin (though I could list like 10 others that are all tied for my top 3). I do mostly programming but I’m trying to learn art and sound design. My first engine was GameMaker, so to any GameMaker fans I respect you.

Bio: Hey everyone! I'm Shibo, a senior studying CS. I took the game development decal last semester and had an absolute blast. It was so much fun, in fact, that I decided to come back and be a facilitator this time around! When I'm not diving into code, you can find me on my guitar or playing games like Apex Legends or Dead by Daylight. Overall, I look forward to meeting all the new decal students and I hope I can help make this a memorable experience as it was for me.
